Chris and Ann, in Ithaca and Roma respectively, are going to post one picture a day for all of second semester. We've got two cameras, a lot of wanderlust (let's be real, this isn't going to stay in two cities) and a serious addiction to the internet (Ann). Here's an effort to document every day life in two different worlds, juxtapose some similarities (foods? colors? shapes? people we live with?) and differences (foods, beers, languages, methods of transportation / communication, etc.)
OFF WE GO:
January 11, 2010 - May 24, 2010
We like exploring, but we also like staying in touch!

ITHACA, NY — Finally recording with awesomeAWESOME. Today we did “You Wanna”. Woo! I think the expressions here are a pretty accurate reflection of our exhaustion. (1!)
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA — Goodbye home. I really wish I could have stayed longer. I’ll try to be back soon. I didn’t even have enough meals to eat a burrito. What else is there in life? (3)
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA — Aw, had a long talk with my mom yesterday about my latent-American pride which I have discovered while living in Argentina/Rome, and how despite the fact that I am a minority in many ways weirdly feel like America is home in a way that nowhere else will ever be. (4)
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA — Sunrise up the hill from my house. Didn’t like this photo when I first took it, but on iPhoto, I like the look of the open road. Can’t wait for our cross-country road trip in a week or so!!! (5)
THE SKY OVER CALIFORNIA — Coming in home after a long flight from London Heathrow, surprisingly unhindered by the ash cloud and BA cabin crew strike. My home, my life, thank god at last. (6)
ITHACA, NY — My view lying down and looking up from a very comfortable towel at the bottom of a very beautiful Fall Creek gorge. Ahhh Ithaca in nice weather — I’m worried that there may be no more wonderful place on earth. (3)
